Optoma Debuts New Feature-Rich, Full-3D Line of Projectors for the Budget-Conscious Users
Education, Small Boardrooms Targeted By Feature-Rich Line
ORLANDO, FL | June 12, 2013 | Optoma, a world leader in DLP projection, is introducing five new feature-rich, affordable projectors here at InfoComm 2013 for budget-conscious users, such as educators and entry-level projector customers. All five projectors – the W306ST, X306ST, W303, X303 and S303 – deliver a minimum of 3000 lumens, offer full 3D capability, and come with Optoma’s Express Service Warranty.
“Optoma is dedicated to meeting the needs of users at all levels, and our new 303-series of projectors demonstrates that commitment,” said Jon Grodem, Optoma’s senior director of product and marketing. “No other company offers the breadth and depth of models to ensure that, and it clearly differentiates Optoma from its competition.”
Two new short-throw projectors, the 3500-lumen, WXGA-resolution W306ST and its 3200-lumen XGA partner, the X306ST, are the perfect solution for applications requiring easy-to-read text and graphics with exceptional color reproduction from a short projection distance. Both projectors come with a full complement of connectivity options: one HDMI, two VGA-in, one VGA-out, composite video, two audio-in and one audio-out, one mic-in, one RS-232C, an RJ45 and a mini-USB port. Both projectors also make use of Optoma’s Eco+ advancements to extend lamp life, and both come with Optoma’s well-known commitment to quality that ensures years of care-free operation.
Both the W306ST (street price $899) and the X306ST (street price $849) will be available in June.
For those need a powerful, reliable projector but who face severe budget restrictions and don’t need all the bells and whistles found on higher-end models, Optoma’s 303-series delivers 3000 lumens, provides full 3D capability, and offers a range of features with reasonable pricing to meet just about any need. All three offer a comprehensive connection panel to satisfy both current and future needs, including one HDMI v1.4a, two VGA-in and one VGA-out, one S-video, composite video, two audio-in and one audio-out, an RS-232C, and one USB-B port.
The W303 offers WXGA resolution at a street price of $599. The XGA-resolution X303 will carry a street price of $499, and the SVGA S303 will sell for $399. All are available now.
